Essential Guidelines for a Smooth Procedure

Pre-Anesthetic Blood Work

Required within 30 days of anesthesia. Blood work detects infections, organ issues, and other concerns. This allows us to tailor medications and keep your pet safe.

Procedure Consent Forms

Forms will be emailed prior to surgery. Review them carefully and reach out with any questions. Our team is here to ensure you feel comfortable every step of the way.

Night Before Surgery

Withhold food after 10 pm the night before the procedure. Water is allowed overnight, but remove it in the morning.

Medication Instructions

Consult your veterinarian about continuing regular medications. For stress and nausea, Gabapentin and Cerenia may be prescribed. Administer exactly as directed.

Drop-Off Time

Standard surgical drop-off is 8:30 to 9:15 am unless otherwise specified. Following this window ensures procedures run smoothly.

Post-Operative Care

Once you bring your pet home, follow all instructions provided by our team. Monitor your pet closely for any changes in behavior, appetite, or energy.
