Passionate Professionals Who Value Collaborative Care

Fairfax Veterinary Hospital would not be what it is today without the exceptional team behind it. What truly makes our team special is the deep respect they have for one another and their shared commitment to continued learning. By working together and constantly growing, they help ensure every patient receives the attentive care they deserve.

Eva – Practice Manager & LVT

Eva discovered her love of animals as a child, always drawn to dogs and cats and eager to care for them. She is deeply committed to her profession and really enjoys helping both pets and people thrive.

Background

Her passion for veterinary medicine began in 2004 when she started as a receptionist, learning the importance of valuing pet parents as much as their pets. She progressed to a veterinary assistant role, where her handling skills and curiosity for medical knowledge grew, eventually leading her to veterinary technician school, graduating in 2009. After two years as a technician, Eva joined a non-profit shelter as an anesthetic technician and shelter population medical coordinator, where her interest in animal behavior grew and she learned how a pet’s environment and handling can shape their responses.

Leadership & Mentorship

Returning to private practice as a lead technician, she developed an assistant training program focused on practical skills, reading dog behavior, and low-stress handling, finding joy in seeing nervous pets blossom into confident, happy companions. Today, as practice manager, she brings her expertise, high standards, and love for teaching to the team every day, ensuring every patient receives thoughtful, compassionate care.
